Pilavjian ran a personal best in the 1,500m at the USC Invitational where he clocked in 4:07.45....Finished fourteenth in the Ben Brown Invitational 5,000m and setting a new personal best with his time of 15:04.65...Ran a personal best time of 34:44.32 for tenth place at the Cal/Nevada Championship...Also competed in the steeple chase where he ran 9:35.25 at the Big West Challenge and setting a new personal best.

High School -- Was All-State and All-League all four of his high school seasons... Champion of the Pacific League in 2006 and 2007... Placed 16th at CIF and then placed 24th at the California State Cross Country meet... Was the 2006 Track and Field league champion in the 3200m... Went on to run the 3200m at CIF and placed 9th... Holds his school's record on the famed Mt. SAC course, with a time of 15:11... Was honored with the CIF Spirit of the Sport Award.
