2009-10: Philip Therp had a record of 4-11 in the No. 1 spot. 2008-09: Defeated a pair of BYU opponents to claim the back draw title of the 2008 Southern California Intercollegiate Championships... Therp redshirted for the Gauchos during the regular season. 2007-08: Philip Therp was honored as 2008 Big West Player of the Year...Posted a 13-11 dual match record, including a 7-7 mark at the No. 1 singles position...Had a 5-2 record against Big West opponents with wins against three members of the All-Conference team...Became the first player in Big West history to capture the premier honors of Big West Player and Freshman of the Year, the latter of which he received in 2007. 2006-07: Before earning 2007 Big West Player of the Year, Therp was one of only four other freshman to be selected for the 2007 NCAA Division 1 Men's Tennis Singles Championship...Therp also picked up All-Big West Second Team honors for singles going 13-10 overall and recorded a 6-5 mark at the No. 3 slot.
