2008-09:One of two Gauchos to make it to the Round of 32 at the 2008 ITA Regionals... Was undefeated in the 2008 UCSB Classic... Selected as one of the Big West Men's Tennis Tri-Athletes of the Week in February of 2009... One of fifteen UC Santa Barbara student-athletes selected to the spring season Big West All-Academic Team... Led the team in doubles wins with partner Alex Konigsfeldt... Led the team in overall singles wins (18). 2007-08: As team captain, Josh Finkelstein received Big West First Team honors alongside teammate Alexander Konigsfeldt...The duo came up with two pivotal wins in the Big West Championship tournament to finish their season with a 14-8 mark...Alone, Finkelstein posted a 10-9 overall record while playing most of his matches at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions...Expected to be named co-team captain this year with Philip Therp. 2006-07: Finkelstein was selected UCSB's Most Improved Player, posting an overall record of 14-10 in doubles competition...Also received All-Big West Second Team honors in doubles and honorable mention in singles...Was 4-5 at the No. 2 spot and 8-3 at the No. 3 spot while teaming with Nigel Barton. 2005-06: Josh Finkelstein redshirted the 2005-06 season at UCSB.High School
