SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UCSB men's tennis team will conclude its fall tournament play by hosting the "UCSB Classic" Friday-Saturday Nov. 11-12 at both the Recreation Center and Harder Stadium Courts on campus.
The tournament consists of four teams: UCSB, UC San Diego, Loyola Marymount and Westmont.
This will be the first opportunity for the UCSB freshman class to play on their home court and tensions will be high as several players will be looking to nail down their spot in the lineup for the spring dual matches.
"It's a great chance for out freshman to play on their home court for the first time, said UCSB coach Marty Davis. "We're still trying to figure out our doubles combinations and get our lineup set for the spring."
The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday with doubles play and will continue Saturday at 9 a.m.
