The Gauchos swept the Mustangs in individual events including the double wins that Pat Cary, Daniel McClary and Myles Peck picked up. Even though Cal Poly had offsite diving competition added to their score it still was not enough to put the Gauchos out.

Senior Pat Cary started off the meet with a win in the first event the 200 Medley relay with teammates Matsumoto, Jepson and Sullivan finishing with a time of 1:35.72. Cary went on to win the 200 free touching in at 1:40.79. Cary also won the 100 fly clocking a time of 49.74.
