LAS VEGAS, NV - UCSB was unable to keep their winning streak going by sacrificing a win to UNLV at Buchanan Natatorium on Saturday January 27, 2007. Senior Pat Cary won both the 100 and 200 fly giving the Gauchos much needed points, but that was not enough to claim the win against the Rebels.
Cary walked away with the 100 and 200 fly 49.59 and 1:51.58, respectively. UCSB took one, two and three in the 200 free to start the meet off in the right direction. Scott Vogelgesang had time of 1:41.66, behind him was Myles Peck, 1:42.38 and taking third was Joesph Plume with a time of 1:43.29. Late in the meet Chris Good won the 200 back to add to his victory list for this season touching in at 1:50.14.
The Gauchos head home and welcome the University of the Pacific to Campus Pool on February 3, 2007.
