2010 GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD WINNER
2010: Swam the lead-off leg of the Gauchos' Big West Champion 200 freestyle relay (1:19.71) and 400 freestyle relay (2:57.28)...Placed second in the 50 freestyle at the Big West Championships with a time of 20.12, a NCAA B-cut...Took seventh in the 200 free (1:41.35)...Was the men's swimming Golden Eagle Award winner after earning the team's highest GPA.

2009 BIG WEST CHAMPION - 200 FREESTYLE RELAY, 400 FREESTYLE RELAY
2009: Big West Champion in the 100 freestyle (43.74)...Part of the Big West Champion meet, conference and school record-setting 400 free relay (2:54.93)...Also on the meet, conference and school record-setting 200 free relay (1:18.40), which won the Big West title...Placed third in the 50 free (20.12), 12th in the 200 free (1:40.22) and competed in the 200 medley relay (1:32.81) at the Big West Championships...Named an Academic All-American Honorable Mention and one of the team's Most Improved. 2008: Placed eighth in the 200 medley relay (1:34.24), 17th in the 100 free (46.14), 17th in the 200 free (1:41.90) and 17th in the 50 free (19.92) at the Big West Championships. Led the school record relay team (19.91). Nationally: Competed at the 2008 Junior National Championships where he placed 10th in the 50 free (23.28).

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles where he swam under coach Kevin Mann...Served as team captain and was a three-time team MVP...Held school records in both the 50 and 100 free...Was also a four-year member and two-year captain and MVP of the varsity water polo team...Swam club with Rose Bowl Aquatics for coach Jeff Julian.
