2012-13: Took 20th overall at the Pac-12 Championships with his 1:38.62 time in the 200 freestyle…Placed first in the 200 freestyle in a meet victory over rival Cal Poly on Nov. 3…Finished sixth overall in the 200 freestyle (1:38.80) at the Arena Invitational in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 17…Was a multiple event winner against UNLV on Jan. 19 taking home victories in the 200 freestyle (1:40.95) and the 500 freestyle (4:38.64)…Placed first in the 100 freestyle (46.57) in a meet victory over Pacific on Feb. 2.

2011-12: Placed 25th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.53), 26th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:31.24) and set the school record in the 800-yard freestyle relay, along with Garret Thompson, Chris Peterson, and Kevin Ferguson, with a time of 6:24.55, which placed fourth at the 2012 Pac-12 Swimming Championships…Finished with a time of 9:41.43 in the 1,000 freestyle against Pacific, the second best time by a Gaucho that season.

2011-12: Placed 18th in the 200 free (1:39.08) and took 21st in the 500 free (4:28.78) at the Pac-10 Championships…Helped UCSB set a new school record in the 800 free relay (6:30.06). 

Swam at Capistrano Valley High School for coach Steve Yancey...Earned All-American honors his sophomore through senior seasons...Named All-CIF Southern Conference his junior and senior years...Was the Cougar's MVP for three consecutive seasons...Set CIF records in the 400 freestyle relay and 200 free relay...Set league records in the 400 free relay and 400 medley relay...Helped Capistrano Valley to three-straight league championships, back-to-back CIF Division I team titles and the State Championship in his senior year...Swam club for Mission Viejo Nadadores...Earned Academic All-American Honors.
