2012-13: Finished 24th overall in the 200 freestyle (1:40.91) at the Pac-12 Championships…Placed first in the 50 free in a meet victory over rival Cal Poly on Nov. 3…Finished eighth overall in the 200 freestyle (1:41.38) at the Arena Invitational in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 17…Placed third in the 50 freestyle vs. UC San Diego on Nov. 2…Came in third place in the 500 freestyle (4:45.39) vs. Pacific on Feb. 2.

2011-12:  Placed 30th in the 50-yard freestyle (20.65), 30th in the 100-yard freestyle (45.43) and 24th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.69) at the Pac-12 Championships…Recorded a time of 51.07 in the 100 backstroke at the UT Invite, fourth best by a Gaucho during the 2011-2012 season. 

2010-11: Placed 24th at the Pac-10 Championships in the 100 backstroke (52.49) and swam a season-best time in the prelims (52.34)…Placed 32nd in the 50 freestyle (21.07) and 40th in the 100 free (46.83). 

Attended La Canada High School where he swam for coach Art Lopez...Set a CIF Division II record in the 400 freestyle relay...Earned All-American honors his sophomore through senior years...Helped lead the Spartans to three consecutive CIF Division II team titles (2007-09)...Served as the team captain...Also competed on the water polo team...Swam club with Rose Bowl Aquatics under coach Jeff Julian...Earned Academic All-American honors in 2009.

Alexander Everette Campbell was born on Nov. 8, 1991 in Long Beach, Calif....Parents are Frank and Margaret...Has three younger sisters: Katy, Sammantha and Christina...Is majoring in business economics at UCSB...When he isn't in the pool or classroom, he enjoys reading, fishing and cooking...Names "Animal House" as his favorite movie...Favorite aspect of college swimming is that there is more competition.
