SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -
The top-ranked and ninth-seeded UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team will host a second round match in the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Harder Stadium. The Gauchos will play the winner of Saturday's San Francisco vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee match. Here is all the pertinent information fans need to know.
For fans interested in attending the match, here is the basic information.
All fans are asked to arrive early to ensure that everyone in attendance gets seated prior to kickoff. Please allow at least 30 minutes to park, purchase ticket, enter, and be seated.
The cost of admission is as follows:
Adults - $10.00
Children, seniors and ALL students with ID - $5.00
Note: All students, including UCSB students, will be charged admission and must have student identification.
The Harder Stadium ticket office will open at 5:30 p.m. and gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased both in advance and at the gate. We strongly suggest that tickets be purchased in advance to beat the crowds and ensure timely entrance into the event.
To purchase tickets in advance call or visit the UCSB Athletic Ticket Office. The ticket office phone number is (805) 893-UCSB (8272). The UCSB Athletic Ticket Office is located in Robertson Gymnasium. All pre-sale tickets purchased via phone must by picked up from the ticket office by Monday, Nov. 22 at 4:00 p.m. There will be NO Will Call at the event. Ticket office hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Visa, Mastercard, cash or checks are accepted. Only Visa and Mastercard will be accepted for telphone sales. Cash ONLY will be accepted at the gate. To speed things up we also suggest that, if you choose to purchase tickets at the gate, you have the correct amount.
Parking for the event will be in university lots 30, 31 and 38. The Mesa Parking Structure will serve as an overflow parking lot.
With the holidays approaching UCSB's Parking Services will be issuing free parking permits the night of the match to people who bring any kind of canned or boxed food for the holiday food drive. Transportation and Parking Service will have attendants with bins available in all four lots.
Parking will also be available for the normal night and weekend fee of $2.00, however in the four lots being used for the match, the automated machines will NOT be used. Parking fees will be collected by lot attendants. We strongly suggest that people have correct change when paying for parking. Once again, we remind fans that a canned or non-perishable food item will be accepted in lieu of the $2.00 fee.
