Booster Bus Planned For Men's Soccer Match Against Five-Time National Champion Indiana At Cal State Fullerton

Come support the UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team, with the nation's top-ranked offense, as they take on five-time National Champion and 2001 NCAA Finalist Indiana on Sunday, October 27th at 4:00 pm at Cal State Fullerton's Titan Stadium.

Vying for a berth in the 2002 NCAA Tournament, the Gauchos bring a potent offense and stubborn defense into the match against the Hoosiers. A victory over 4th-ranked Indiana would make a bold statement as Santa Barbara tries for its first ever trip into post-season play. But they want your help!

The UCSB Athletic Marketing Department is offering a booster bus to the match for those fans interested in going down to watch the Gauchos in their biggest match of the year. The game is played at a neutral field, so let's turn it into a home field advantage. The bus will leave UCSB around 12 noon on Sunday and return to campus following the match, and hopefully after some post-game celebration.

If interested in making the trip to Fullerton to see No. 22 UCSB take-on No. 4 Indiana please contact the Marketing Department's Monica Grover at 805-893-5372, or Pat Merna at 805-893-8380.

Availability and cost is dependant upon the number of responses received. The deadline to determine if enough people have responded is set for Wednesday, October 23rd. So make your plans now and bring along a couple of friends, because you know a UCSB Booster Bus is always a good time.

Come help the UCSB men's soccer team in its quest for the NCAA Tournament.
