2006: Played in a total of 20 matches and started 19 for the Gauchos, both of which were new career-highs...After appearing in a combined total of just 20 matches during his first two seasons at UCSB, he quickly became a staple of the Santa Barbara defensive midfield a year ago...Had a tremendous performance in the Gauchos' regular season finale, assisting on a goal in the 66th minute and then scoring one of his own less than 11 minutes later in the 4-0 thrashing of UC Riverside (11/4)...It was his only goal of the season and UCSB clinched its fourth Big West title in the last six years with the victory...Notched his first career assist in the Gauchos' 2-0 win in the Big West Opener against Cal Poly (9/5), starting a scoring play for the second goal in the 72nd minute...His four points were tops amongst defensive midfielders and defenders...Doubled his career total with 10 shots on the season...Was instrumental during Santa Barbara's postseason run, consistently thwarting offensive pushes from the opposition. 2005: Appeared in 13 matches for UCSB and started a career-high six contests, including the NCAA Tournament second round matchup at Cal State Northridge (10/22)...Posted nine shots after scoring a goal on the only shot of his career as a freshman in 2004...Netted his second career goal, the game- winner, at UC Riverside (11/9) on a rebound in the 30th minute leading the Gauchos to a 3-1 win. 2004: Tennelle appeared in seven matches for the Gauchos, all UCSB wins, making one start at Cal State Fullerton (10/30)...He earned his one start after netting his first career goal to give the Gauchos the win over Cal Poly (10/24) earlier in the week...Tennelle's game-winning goal came off of his first career shot, giving him a 1.000 shot percentage on the season...Averaged 0.29 points per game, the fifth-most among returning players. A member of the Cal-South Olympic Development squad in 2001...Went on a tour of England with the ODP team, playing in 14 matches against the junior sides of some of England's top clubs, including Arsenal, Everton, Hearts, Nottingham Forest, and Millwall...Spent one season with SDSC Pegasus and three with PQ Premier before joining the San Diego Surf...In his four years with the Surf he helped them to a Nomads Showcase and State Cup title in 2000...Also helped the Surf to the finals of the International Festival of Football in 2000 and the finals of the Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament in 1999.
