Gleason was a four-year starter and played center-mid for Buhach Colony High School...The four-time All-Valley Oak League selection led the Thunder to the League Championships in 2004 and 2005...Selected as the Merced Sun Star Player of the Year and to the Modesto Bee All-Area First Team as a senior in 2005...A four-time Academic All-League selection, he won the CIF Valley Oak League Scholar-Athlete Award four times in high school...A lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation, he also belonged to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes while at BCHS...Ran in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meter events in track and was a point guard on the basketball team.
