Loyalty Scarves Now Available to Soccer Season Ticket Holders
Loyalty scarves are now available for pickup for the first 500 men's soccer season ticket purchasers at the Harder Stadium Gaucho Shop location or on non-game-days in the UCSB Athletics Ticket Office located in the Intercollegiate Athletics Building.
The distinctive two-sided scarf, with the words "Gaucho Futbol" on one side and UCSB's nationally recognized "This is Soccer Heaven" trademark on the other, is considered a first of its kind in college soccer. When the scarf is worn on game-day it will offer fans specials at the match. The benefit this year will be the actual scarf with great specials on-tap for the 2014 season. Each season ticket will receive one scarf and two scarves for every Family Plan.
The first 200 students in the Loco Rewards program to the Yale game on Friday, Sept. 20 will also receive the scarf.
Propelled by a 2006 national championship, the Gauchos have led the nation in men's soccer attendance every year since 2007 and own five of the top on campus crowds in NCAA history. The Gauchos currently have almost 2,000 season tickets holders, the most in the nation as well.
Season tickets to the best family and entertainment value in Santa Barbara are led by the popular Family Plan which provides tickets for 2 adults and 3 youth (8th grade and under) for every game for only $180. Kids also receive a free GKids t-shirt for free admission to additional UCSB games throughout the year such as basketball, baseball and softball. GKids is the official kids club of the Gauchos.
Individual season tickets - only $68 and $52 for UCSB faculty and staff (current or retired) - are on sale up until the Sept. 27 Stanford game and can be purchased at the game, online or in person at the UCSB Athletics Ticket Office or by calling (805) 893-UCSB (8272).
Seating for men's soccer is divided into Blue and Gold sections with the ticket price the same for each. Gold sections are priority seating for donors supporting student-athletes with a tax-deductible gift to the Gaucho Fund. The UCSB Athletics Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays (until Nov 23) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
