Campion Garners National Team of the Week Honors

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Junior Achille Campion garnered National Team of the Week honors from for his part in No. 6 UC Santa Barbara's pair of wins this past weekend.

The forward scored in each of the Gauchos' victories during a two-state road swing. In Friday's 3-0 victory over San Diego, Campion scored the Gauchos' final goal in the 78th minute. Then, on Sunday, he got UCSB rolling with a goal in the 18th minute of an eventual 6-2 victory at Seattle.

Campion currently leads the undefeated Gauchos (5-0-1) with five goals on the season and 11 total points. To see's complete Team of the Week, click here

UCSB will be back in action this Friday when it returns to the friendly confines of Meredith Field at Harder Stadium to take-on UCLA in a FOX Soccer Channel televised pairing.
