UCSB Athletics to Debut Two 30-Second Soccer Spots to Air During NBC's Olympic Coverage

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Every four years the best athletes in the world gather to compete for Olympic Gold. Luckily for Gaucho Soccer fans, the wait isn't that long as some of the best soccer in the country plays out at Harder Stadium in what is known as Soccer Heaven.

To mark its push for continued record crowds that provide the best atmosphere in college soccer, UCSB Athletics will have a significant presence in Cox Media's coverage of the Olympic games. Two new, creative 30-second commercials will air throughout the Olympic games on the following networks: NBC, Bravo, CNBC, NBC Sports Network, and MSNBC.

The first spot, Family Plan, highlights the tremendous value of the popular Family Plan ticket package, which offers either five tickets, or two adult tickets and three Gkids tickets, for the low price of around $3.50 per game, per ticket. Catch a sneak preview of the spot by clicking here.

The second commercial features two-time National Coach of the Year Tim Vom Steeg in the first of a multi-part series. The initial spot has Vom Steeg reflecting upon the record-setting Harder Stadium crowd that saw UCSB defeat UCLA two seasons ago. The Bruins and Gauchos meet September 21, again at Harder, and the only way to guarantee your spot is through the purchase of season tickets by calling 805-893-UCSB or clicking here.
