SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UCSB men's soccer team is proud to announce its Gauchos Give Game Nights for the 2012 season.
The Gauchos Give Tix program provides free youth tickets (seventh grade and under) to local schools, non-profits, and charitable groups. Along with free tickets, groups can receive recognition during the game and participate in game promotions.
UCSB will be welcoming Gauchos Give groups (five per game on a first come, first serve basis) at the following 2012 men's soccer home contests: Valporaiso (Sept. 7), UC Irvine (Oct. 5), Cal State Northridge (Oct. 7), Sacramento State (Oct. 16), Cal Poly (Oct. 19) and UC Davis (Oct. 28).
Any groups interested in signing up for one of these six games should contact the UCSB Intercollegiate Athletics Ticket Office at 805-893-UCSB or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you belong to a group of 15 that is not a local school, non-profit, or charitable organization, and would like to attend a game, discounts are available by calling the Ticket Office at the number above.
Groups that have already registered for 2012 Gauchos Give Game Nights include the Santa Barbara Boy Scouts of America (Oct. 20), Brandon School (Oct. 20), Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group (Oct. 20) and Ventura Boy Scouts of America (Oct. 5).
The Gauchos Give Tix program is just one of several community outreach programs that the UCSB men's soccer team participates. To keep fans and the community abreast on all of its latest community service projects, UCSB men's soccer has created a new blog, which can be found here.
