Jack Duneminier shot a 5-under par to lead Oregon to the first round lead at the OGIO-Santa Barbara Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara on Monday. The Ducks lead the host, UCSB, by 14 shots (274-288) as the 16 teams continue play in the second round.

Duneminier was one of four Oregon golfers to shoot below-par in the first round. Daniel Miernicki was second at 4-under par while Robbie Ziegler was tied for third a 3-under par. Ziegler was joined by Long Beach State's Kevin Roy and Seattle University's Chris Holway.

UCSB was led by Andrew Gunson who shot a 2-under par 70.
