Gauchos Continue Fall Schedule, Finish Sixth at SCU Invitational

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Joe Ryon shot a career-best 224 to finish in 11th-place and lead UC Santa Barbara to a sixth-place team finish at the SCU Invitational in San Jose.

Ryon shot first and second round 75s and a third-round 74 for his 224 total. Greg Wells finished in a tie for 15th-place with a 226. Jean-luc Burnier and Nick Telliard each shot 234 to tie for 35th-place and Sean Meier shot 249 to round out the UCSB field.

The Gauchos return to action on November 6 when they play at the Del Walker Intercollegiate in Long Beach, Calif.
