Michael Feuerstein shot a career-best 4-under par 212 to finish in a tie for 22nd and help the UC Santa Barbara golf team to a 15th-place finish at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
The tournament, played at Leilehua Golf Course, was won by powerful Arizona, which shot a combined score of 833. The Wildcats edged UNLV, which shot 837.
Senior Brian Six was UCSB's next highest finisher. Six carded a 1-over par 217 to tie for 54th-place. Nick Telliard shot 220 to finish tied for 65th, Jean-luc Burnier shot 227 and Joey Ramos shot 228 to round out the Gaucho card.
UCSB returns to action in March 7-8 when it plays at the Braveheart Classic sponsored by UC Riverside.
