Brian Hollenbeck was once again a top contributor to the Gaucho Men's Golf Team in his junior campaign...The only Gaucho to play all 33 rounds for a second consecutive year...Finished third on the team with a stroke average of 73.70 and had three top-15 finishes...Hollenbeck placed 10th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate with a stroke average of 73.67...At the Del Walker Intercollegiate, he shot an opening round 69 to shoot an average of 69.33 and finish 6th...Finished 23rd at the Big West Championships highlighted by a second round 72...His best round of the season came at the Del Walker Intercollegiate where he shot a second round 68.
Brian Hollenbeck followed up a First Team All-Big West season with a solid sophmore campaign...The only gaucho to play all 33 rounds during the 2007-08 campaign...Finished second on the team with a stroke average of 73.18 and had three top-10 finishes... Started the season with a 1st place finish at the Bill Cullum invitational shooting an average of 70.67... At the Braveheart Classic, he finished with a second round 72 and a third round 71 to place 4th...Hollenbeck also capped the year strongly with a 10th place finish at the Big West Championships, shooting an average of 72.67...His two best rounds of the season occurred at the OGIO Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and Del Walker Intercollegiate, where he shot a season-low of 67.
