20 Questions with Chidi Ajufo

UC Santa Barbara men's basketball sophomore transfer Chidi Ajufo came from Pensacola Junior College where he averaged nine points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots per game. The Lagos, Nigeria native attended high school in London where he competed in track and field as a high jumper, but has only played basketball for a few years. In the UCSB exhibition games the forward has averaged ten points and four and a half rebounds a game, making him the Gauchos' second leading scorer so far.

Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies and Gatorade

If you could go to any place in the world where would it be?
Somewhere in Asia...I've been to South America, I've been to North America, Africa, Europe, but I've never been to Asia

What do you want to be doing in ten years?
I'd like to make it pro...right now I'd want to play for the Phoenix Suns, but that could change

What is your favorite spot on campus?
In my room, in my bed

What is your all time favorite movie?
I have a couple..."Training Day", "Scarface", "Shawshank Redemption", "Saw" 1 and 2

Favorite hour of the day?
10 pm when I know everything is over and done with...class, study hall, practice is all done and I can just relax

Your dream car?
Big-bodied Escalade, all black with chrome rims and black leather interior

What is your favorite hang out spot in Santa Barbara?
My teammate's house on Sabado
