SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - With just a week to go before UC Santa Barbara's basketball game against No. 1 North Carolina, fewer that 100 tickets remain available. The tickets are still being sold as part of the `Cinco Pack' and will not likely be available for single-game purchase.
For $75.00, a `Cinco Pack' provides fans a ticket to the Nov. 21 game against the Tar Heels and to any other four games on the Gauchos' schedule.
"The `Cinco Packs' have been a great success for us," said UCSB Athletics Director Mark Massari. "The response has been tremendous and we are very excited that fans are going to get the opportunity to see the North Carolina game and four other great games."
`Cinco Packs' are also available for UCSB women's games. Fans can get tickets for any five games on the Gauchos' schedule for as low as $24.00. The UCSB women's team opens its 2008-09 season on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thunderdome. `Cinco Packs' and single-game tickets are available at the Ticket Office in the Intercollegiate Athletics Building on campus from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., by calling 805-893-UCSB, or online by clicking here.
