Thunder Row Tickets Now Available for Gaucho Men's and Women's Basketball

Oct. 9, 2009

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Basketball season is around the corner and season tickets for Gaucho Basketball are now on sale. And for the first time, you have the chance to sit courtside in Thunder Row as you watch the Gaucho men and women from the front row.

Thunder Row seats are the best possible location for basketball games at the Thunderdome. Located right on the court, opposite the team benches, Thunder Row offers padded individual seats for all of the action.

Thunder Row seats for men's basketball are priced at $175. For women's games they are $150. Both require donations to the Gaucho Fund and will be based on priority points. Purchasers of Thunder Row seats will also be entitled to the same amenities as Gold season ticket holders; free parking, pregame and halftime hospitality and invitations to special events.

The Thunderdome has a new look for the 2009-10 season. The court has been redesigned and has one of the Gauchos' new logos in the center. Along the baselines is "UCSB," written in the new Gaucho font. Also in Gaucho font is "Welcome to the Thunderdome," written along the sideline. Check out the photo gallery here! In addition to the new-look court, the walls and rafters, inside and out, will have a completely different appearance. Individual banners will be hung to represent UCSB's league titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball. There will also be large banners representing "Legends of the Dome" that will be unveiled during the season. New banners will also adorn the various entrances of the Thunderdome.
