The Big West Champion UC Santa Barbara men's basketball program will hold a trio of basketball camps this summer, beginning on June 14 with the first of two boy's day camps.
The first day camp for boys in grades 2-8 will run June 14-June 18 while the second will go from Aug. 16-Aug. 20. The cost for the standard day camp is $205 without lunches and $240 with lunches. Extended day camp, which provides supervision from 7:45 am to 9am and 4:30 pm-5:30 pm, are $220 without lunches and $255 with lunches.
The Gaucho Basketball Camps are designed to provide quality individual instruction in all facets of offensive and defensive basketball. The program is structured to accommodate all levels of players with a participant to staff ratio of 8-to-1. Awards will be given to contest winners and those who demonstrate attributes such as positive attitude, hustle, and sportsmanship.
The UCSB High School Team Camp will be held June 25-27. Each team will play a minimum of six games and there will be a tournament on the final day. There will be professional officiating, guest speakers and clinicians, slam dunk and three-point shooting contests, and chalk talks with Big West Coach of the Year Bob Williams and other top coaches.
The team camp is limited to 80 teams at a cost of $450. Dorms are also available.
