Talk'n Gauchos Will Be Talk'n NCAA Tourney With Bob Williams, Greg Somogyi & Justin Joyner

Following the UC Santa Barbara men's basketball team's Big West championship and looking ahead to the Gauchos' first-round game this Friday vs. Ohio State, Talk'n Gauchos will feature three members of the men's team this week. Head Coach Bob Williams, the Big West Coach of the Year, along with players Justin Joyner and Greg Somogyi will be on the radio show.

Talk'n Gauchos is UCSB Athletics' weekly radio show. The show is broadcast from State and A Bar & Grill will air live on AM 1490 KIST from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fans are encouraged to show up at State and A, on the corner of State Street and Anapamu Street in Santa Barbara, for chances to win new UCSB gear and tickets to Gaucho games. For more information on Talk'n Gauchos, click here.

Williams' Gauchos won the Big West Tournament title last Saturday and earned a No. 15 seed into the NCAA Tournament. The Gauchos will face No. 2 seed Ohio State on Friday in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Joyner, a junior point guard, played in 21 games this season and averaged 2.1 assists per game.

Somogyi, a 7-foot-3 sophomore, blocked a team-high 36 shots this season while averaging 2.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
