The UCSB baseball team will be holding its Second Annual High School Prospects Camp on November 19 and 20 at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium on the campus of UC Santa Barbara. The camp begins on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Sunday's camp times are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Instruction will be given from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on both days, while games will be played from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Any camper in grades 10-12 interested in participating, the cost is $250 per camper. (Includes coach evaluation, hat and shirt)
This camp is designed for the high school player who is looking to play at the next level. Campers will be assigned to a "camp team" for the duration of the camp. The routine for these days will include team stretching and infield and outfield before games. The Saturday session will consist of a timed 60-yard dash, batting practice, fielding evaluations, pitching and throwing long toss programs and games.
