UCSB-Sac State Rained Out on Friday

SACRAMENTO - UCSB and Sacramento State had Friday's second game of a three-game series rained out. The Gauchos and Hornets will play a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

UCSB (12-8 overall) is in the midst of a three-game winning streak after junior left-hander Nick Capito tossed a complete game shutout in Thursday's opener over the Hornets (8-15-1).

UCSB is scheduled to start LHP Mario Hollands (2-1, 2.91 ERA) and RHP Jesse Meaux (4-1, 3.34 ERA) for Saturday's double-dip.

The Gauchos return home on Tuesday to host Loyola Marymount at 2 p.m.
