Santa Barbara's High School All-Star Baseball Camp Set for July 10-14

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -
Santa Barbara's High School All-Star Baseball Camp is five intense days of baseball. The camp's staff, UCSB head coach Bob Brontsema, UCSB pitching coach Tom Myers and UCSB assistant coaches Bob Townsend and John Kirkgard, main objective is to evaluate the athlete's current ability and identify what he must do to improve his skill level. Each athlete will be give a written evaluation and opinion of what level of baseball he might expect to play in future years.
For five days, players will be given three hours instruction by current college coaches, participate in a competitive daily game at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium, receive personalized workouts for speed and strength development and study individual video tape. Seminars have been prepared on academic preparation for college and nutritional health. Each camper will also receive housing, meals, and a fitted UC Santa Barbara baseball cap and team jersey for $625.
Registration is restricted to high school baseball players aged 16 and 17 (juniors and seniors Fall of 2005). All enrollees must believe they have the abilities to play baseball at the top college level. The camp will be limited to 100 campers.

5:00 pm - Dinner
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm - Evening Activities
