Santa Barbara, Calif. -
UC Santa Barbara head baseball coach Bob Brontsema, and his Gaucho coaching staff, will host the annual UCSB Baseball Camp July 16-20, 2001, it was announced today.
"This is an outstanding camp for young players," said Brontsema. "They will be drilled in the fundamentals and basics of the game, and it is also a great deal of fun."
The camp is for players between the ages of seven and 13. It is a dropoff camp that runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and lunch is included.

Time: 9am-to-5pm
Location: Caesar Uyesaka Stadium
Cost: $415 for overnight campers, $250 for day campers
Ages: 14-17
The camp coaching staff will include Bob Brontsema, Thomas Myers, other experienced coaches and many current and former Gaucho players. The player-to-coach ratio will be 8-to-1.
The camp is for skill enhancement and for those athletes that are looking to play at the next level.
