Saw more time than expected and started 28 games while appearing in a total of 39...Finished fourth on the team with a .285 batting average...Knocked three home runs and four doubles out of a total 35 hits...Scored a Big West season high five runs against Westmont on March 5.

Played for Doug Stoner at Ashland High School...First team All-Southern Oregon Conference and All-State selection his senior year...Senior year batted .520 and set a school record hitting 14 homeruns...Junior year batted .460 including 10 homeruns...Also played basketball in high school...A member of the National Honors Society.
