2010
As a junior Greg appeared in 20 games starting seven ... Was 2-2
with a 4.91 ERA ... He struck out 47 on the season which was good
for second-most on the team ... His 66 hits allowed were the
fourth-fewest in the Big West ... Walked just 14 batters, which was
the second-fewest among conference pitchers ... His 35 runs allowed
and 30 earned runs were fourth-fewest among Big West pitchers ...
Had his best start as a Gaucho in at Pacific on May 29 ... Tossed a
complete game, allowing just one run with four strikeouts in 110
pitches in a 5-1 UCSB victory ... On April 20 at USC he tossed five
shutout innings only giving up three hits while striking out six
and walking only two ... Posted a 10 inning scoreless streak that
lasted from March 23 through April 10 ... Picked up his first win
of the season with 1.1 strong relief innings on April 13 vs.
Pepperdine ... Had a season-best six strikeouts on two occasions -
April 20 at USC and May 4 at Cal State Bakersfield.
2010 Summer
Greg played for the Bend Elks in the West Coast League... He went
3 -1 with a 2.06 ERA in 39.1 innings... He played in 9 games only
giving up 9 earned runs while striking out 29 and only walking
10.
2009
Appeared in 15 games as a sophomore, starting twice...Went 1-1 on
the season with a 5.86 ERA...Earned his win during his April 1
start at San Diego State, pitching four innings while allowing just
one run and three hits with two strikeouts...Of his 29 hits
allowed, only two went for extra bases...Had season-best three
strikeouts on Apr. 28 vs. Cal State Bakersfield, tossing two
scoreless frames...Had a 7.2 inning scoreless streak, spanning four
appearances.
2008
Pitched in eight games, including three starts...Struck out 14
batters in 17 innings...Allowed only one home run...Struck out five
