Casey Harms is in his third season at UC Santa Barbara as the Director of Baseball Operations.
Harms's responsibilities include coordinating team travel, equipment/apparel, on-campus recruiting, assisting the camp coordinator with marketing and camp organization, and running the Gaucho Baseball Academy's weekly hitting clinics.
In the summer of 2014, Harms served as an assistant coach for the Kelowna Falcons of the West Coast Summer Collegiate League. With the Falcons, his duties included coaching first base, leading the outfielders, and assisting with the hitters and baserunners.
Before arriving at UCSB, Harms was an outfielder and three-year captain at Occidental College. At Occidental, he was part of the baseball program's turnaround, including his final season when the Tigers recorded their best record in over 30 years.
Harms received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Occidental College in 2012. He and his wife Samantha currently reside in Santa Barbara.
