SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – UCSB's Gaucho Baseball Academy has announced its Fall and Winter high school camp schedule.  The schedule features three prospect camps and one hitting camp. There will be a youth camp date set by the end of September.

The Academy will host prospect camps from Nov. 2-3, Dec. 14-15, and Feb. 8. From Jan. 11-12, it will host the second annual Hawk's Holiday High School Hitting Camp.

Gaucho Baseball Academy Prospect Camps include elite offensive and defensive instruction, competitive scrimmages, and an incredible coaching staff.  The camp staff includes members of the UCSB coaching staff that led the Gauchos to their first appearance in the NCAA Championships in 12 years with a trip to the Corvallis Regional.

Hawk's Holiday Hitting Camp is run by Gaucho offensive coach Jason Hawkins who led the Gauchos offense to first place in the Big West Conference in stolen bases and second in runs and RBIs this past season.

Features of Gaucho Baseball Academy Camps include written analysis from the camp staff – included in the price of your registration – as well as optional video analysis with one of the coaches of your swing, defense, or pitching delivery at an extra cost.

The Gaucho Baseball Academy coaching staff includes Andrew Checketts, UCSB's head coach, who in just his second season led the Gauchos to their first NCAA Tournament berth in 12 years. Checketts also brought in the nation's 12th best recruiting class in 2012. Rounding out the coaching staff are UCSB assistant coaches Jason Hawkins, Eddie Cornejo, and Neil Walton, as well as coaches from area colleges such as Westmont, Santa Barbara City College, and Occidental College.
