SANTA BARBARA, Calif – This weekend, the UCSB Baseball team will be playing ball with two local youth baseball leagues.
On Saturday, November 10th, the Gauchos will be at Mackenzie Park in Santa Barbara with the Santa Barbara Pony League for a free baseball clinic from 9:00am to 10:30am. Then on Sunday, November 11th, the Gauchos will be at the Goleta Valley South Little League Fields to work with the Goleta Valley South Little League in a free clinic from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
The clinics will be run by the Gaucho baseball team, with current UCSB players and coaches providing instruction. Participating youth will work on their hitting and defensive skills, while learning some of the UCSB drills done every day in practice. The participating youth leagues will receive elite instruction, all while having fun playing baseball with the Gauchos.
Both clinics are free to those kids involved in the two leagues.
