his freshman year with the Ducks ... Appeared in 33 games and made
24 starts at first base … Hit .191 (17-for-89) with nine
RBI, nine runs scored, five doubles and one triple …
Recorded five two-out RBIs and three multiple-RBI games …
Went on a season-best, six-game hitting streak from Feb. 19-27 as
the Ducks went 4-2 during that stretch … Season highlights
included: recorded a RBI single in UO’s 4-0 shutout of
Hawai’i (02/20) ... doubled and scored a run in
Oregon’s 4-3 win at Hawai’i (02/21) ... hit 2-for-4
with a double in UO’s 5-0 win at Long Beach State (03/04) ...
Produced a two-run single and scored a run in a 7-6, 12-inning loss
at Long Beach State (03/05) ... Laced a bases-clearing, two-out
triple to left center in 6-4 victory at San Diego (03/20) ... Had a

A 2010 graduate of Oakmont High School in Roseville,
Calif…played three years of both varsity baseball and soccer
for the Vikings…on the diamond under head coach Dean
Perkins, was named to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro First Team
following his senior season after leading the Sierra Foothill
League batting .447…was also named to the Max Peps
California All-State Baseball Second Team…played in the
Optimist All-Star Game…his senior year added 30 runs, 15
RBIs, 12 doubles, one triple and three home runs…entering
his senior season, was the No. 29 recruit in the state of
California (No. 133 in the nation) according to PerfectGame
Crosschecker... during his junior year in 2009, was an all-Sierra
Foothill League selection...batted .419, drove in 27 runs and hit
four home runs... played for the Milwaukee Brewers Blue Area Code
team during the 2009 Area Code Games from Aug. 5-10, in Long Beach,
Calif., along with current teammate Stefan Sabol...also played for
the San Francisco Giants at the 2009 Mariners Cup, a baseball
tournament for selected high school players, from Aug.17-19, at
Safeco Field…on the soccer field was an all-league sweeper
for head coach Mark Broers.

Tyler Suki Kuresa was born on November 17, 1992 in
Sacramento, California to his parents Suki and Maria ... He has
four siblings, Natalie, Tyson, Trevor, and Nani ... Majoring
in communications ... He plans on playing Major League
Baseball ... His most memorable sports moment was being
selected in the 2010 draft, when he was selected in the 11th round
by the Minnesota Twins ... His favorite teams to root for are the
Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees ... Movie of choice would
be Despicable Me and his favorite book to read is the biography of
Babe Ruth ... His favorite musicians are Fiji, and Tim McGraw ...
