This weekend, the Gauchos are heading out to New Haven, Conn. for their final road tournament of the season at the Yale Invitational. UCSB is slated to play three matches, as they will take on Rice on Friday at 2 p.m. and will conclude the weekend versus the host Bulldogs and Rhode Island on Saturday.

Gauchos Open Cross Country Season at Home vs. Cal Poly
The UCSB Cross Country squads will open their 2015 fall campaign at home this Saturday, Sept. 5th with the Lagoon Open. In a showcase of two of the top distance programs in the Big West, the Gauchos will welcome the Cal Poly Mustangs as well as a number of open and high school athletes competing in a variety of sections.

The No. 17 UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team opened its regular season schedule in about the best way they could have imagined, putting in an all-around oustanding performance and topping the reigning Pac-12 champion and fifth-ranked Stanford 1-0 on Friday night at Harder Stadium.

MALIBU, Calif. – The start of the 2015 season could not have gone much better, as UCSB swept its way through two matches to open at 2-0. The Gauchos tipped off the Pepperdine Asics Tournament with a 3-0 match against Utah Valley and followed that up by blanking Incarnate Word later in the afternoon.

The UCSB women’s soccer team will host its annual Wine Experience from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 in the lobby of the Intercollegiate Athletics Building on campus. The festivities will actually begin on the evening of Friday, September 4 when the Gauchos host the University of Texas in a 7:00 p.m. match at Harder Stadium.

The UCSB women's soccer team will play the first of 10 home games when it hosts San Jose State on Friday, Aug. 28. The match will kick-off at 5:00 p.m. and is part of a doubleheader with the Gaucho men's team playing Stanford at 7:30 p.m. The team will then be off for a week, until it hosts the University of Texas on Friday, Sept. 4 at Harder Stadium.
