After eight months of preparation, the UCSB Gauchos will send their final 32 men's and women's team members to the Big West Championship in search of individual and team glory. UC Riverside will serve as the host for the eight men's and nine women's conference teams. The meet will take place on Friday and Saturday, with track prelims set to begin Friday afternoon.

Bush Powers No. 8 UCSB to See-Saw Win Over Bakersfield in Midweek Finale
Despite trailing being down to its final strike in the ninth inning, No. 8 UC Santa Barbara pulled of an 8-7 win over CSU Bakersfield on Tuesday night at Hardt Field, as freshman first baseman Austin Bush sent a hanging change-up deep into the Kern County night for a two-run home run, rescuing the Gauchos from a two-run deficit and giving them a victory over the Roadrunners just seven days after they ended UCSB's bid for a perfect 2015 midweek ledger.
