Lauren Carter was promoted to the position of Director of Ticket Operations in August 2013. Carter is responsible for all ticket sales and operations and oversees the UCSB Athletics Event Staff and the Gauchos Shop. She also assists the Gaucho Fund with all donor related ticketing needs.
Carter joined the Gauchos in April 2012 and most recently served as the Assistant Ticket Manager. Carter began her intercollegiate athletics career as a ticket office intern at her alma mater, Michigan State University. She then worked in the athletic ticket office at the University of Maryland before joining the athletics department at the University of South Alabama as a Ticket Sales Representative.
Carter is a 2009 graduate of Michigan State University. While at MSU, she was a four-year letter winner on the Spartans women's soccer team and was a volunteer assistant coach for the Spartans during the 2009 season. She earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology.
Originally, from Cincinnati, Ohio, Carter grew up in Michigan and currently resides in Santa Barbara with her fiancé, Zack Zimmermann.
