Position: Senior Associate Athletics Director, Development and Principal Gifts to Athletics

Andy Fee is in his third year at UC Santa Barbara, serving as Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Development & Principal Gifts. Fee provides direction and leadership to the UCSB Athletics development program, which includes fundraising efforts for all endowments, construction, annual giving and planned gifts.  His priority focus is on major and leadership gifts directed towards Gaucho Athletics.  Collaborating directly with administrators and coaches Fee works to identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts to UCSB Athletics across 20 programs and areas.  As a member of the executive staff, Fee also assists in strategic planning for the department. Additionally, he serves on the Chancellor's Committee for Enterprise Risk Management. 

Fee came to UC Santa Barbara from the University of San Diego where he served as Associate Athletics Director for Facilities & Operations from 2002-2010.  He oversaw all athletic operations including event management, master planning, scheduling, and maintenance and purchasing for the department's athletic venues. Fee played a major role in development of USD's new $13 million dollar baseball facility. He was also the sport supervisor for women's soccer, women's & men's rowing, and men's golf.  Fee served on the Campus Parking Committee as well as Campus Master Planning Committee during his tenure at USD. Prior to the University of San Diego, Fee worked at Arizona State University in Athletic Operations for two seasons. Before that he was the Facility Supervisor for the ASU Student Recreation Complex. Besides his work at ASU and USD, he developed Athletics and Management skills with the NFL Cardinals, Fiesta Bowl and PGA Phoenix Open.

From Laguna Niguel, California, he earned his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History from Arizona State University, and his M.A. in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Andy and his wife, Nicole, reside in Santa Barbara along with their dog Sparky.
